Carolyn Dorrian is the founder and principal solicitor of Dorrian & Co. Lawyers, a leading corporate and commercial legal and advisory boutique firm in Sydney and the Gold Coast. Dorrian & Co. Lawyers provides top-tier quality legal and advisory advice in a broad range of matters including immigration, contract drafting and reviews, and conveyancing and leasing (residential and commercial) at affordable fixed rates and tailored to the individual client. With 8 years experience in the immigration industry, Carolyn is expert in assisting with a wide range of visas, including former 457 work visas and Temporary Work (Skilled) visas, partner visas, permanent residency (PR), as well as more complex immigration cases. Although Carolyn is situated in Sydney, she is accustomed to advising clients who are located elsewhere.
Carolyn holds a Master of Laws in corporate commercial law, a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales. Prior to founding Dorrian & Co. Lawyers, Carolyn worked at Ashurst (previously known as Blake Dawson) in taxation law. She has also worked at a boutique corporate commercial law firm, as well as in Singapore’s courts and at Lee & Lee (a law firm founded by Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the first Prime Minister of Singapore).
She is on the board for Tara.Ed, an Australian not-for-profit organisation in India, and is on the management committee board for the Australia India Business Council NSW. She is the author of multiple outstanding publications including for Inside Small Business, and has been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald as well as on the Morning Show as a guest speaker.
