6 things you should know about visa grants and refusals

If your visa is granted by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, you will receive the following information:

1. When you can use the visa
2. The visa grant number
3. Any conditions attached to the visa

In the event your visa is refused, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection will provide you with the following information:

1. Why your visa was refused
2. Your review rights (if any)
3. The time frame you have to lodge an appeal
